Is it because that person may be useful in your future so you're thinking, just stay in contact just in case they're 'useful' in the future? At times we give other people our time, money or peace of mind by saying "yes" to them but "no" to ourselves. Listen to my podcast where I explain why you should be living your life the other way round.
